WIAW !

You know those days where you have the SAME schedule so you eat the SAME things because it just works? Well, apparently Tuesday is one of those days. My WIAW’s are getting very repetitive but I promise I eat more than what I blog about for WIAW’s.

Next week I will photograph another day so it gets switched up around here! Lets get started:D

Unpictured half a bagel with almond butter and 1/2 banana before Bikram. It was the easiest thing to take on the go and not too heavy before yoga!

Chocolate-y protein smoothie topped with more Love Grown of course.

In the mix:

  • 5 Ice Cubes
  • 1 frozen banana
  • Mini spoonful cherry preserves (I’d say about 2 tsp. maybe?)
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 1 C. Original Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1/2 C. unsweetened chocolate almond milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa powder

Does anyone else still think to themselves “Wed-NES-day” while typing out that word? Please tell me I’m not the only one.

Yup, overnight oats once again. I don’t know how my hair tie got into the picture? I didn’t have that for breakfast.

  • 1/3 C. Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 C. Almond Milk
  • 1 small blueberry Activia (Dannon)
  • About 1 tbs. of Chia Seeds (I didn’t really measure)
  • 1/2 banana
  • About 2 tbs. Frozen Raspberries
  • Blob of Barney Butter<3

Into the fridge and woke up with a delicious meal waiting for me. Plus some coffee, obviously.

I never snack this late but I had a workout planned for 6:30 pm and knew I wouldn’t be home till after 8! So instead of risking getting hungry during the workout, I had this snack. I was also a bit hungry.

Empty and clean Jar (no nut butter) I just wanted to use a smaller container instead of dirtying a bowl.

  • 1/4 C. Ezekiel Cereal
  • 1/4 C. Quaker Oat Squares
  • About 1/4 of a peach
  • Cinnamon
  • Pinch of coconut
  • Chocolate Unsweetened Almond Milk

Just enough to hold me over but not too heavy!

This looks ridiculous, but I can explain. No clean dishes. Way too late to care. Results in a measuring cup for a bowl and a Tupperware top for a plate.

Soup and turkey sandwich on Ezekiel bread. Easy for a late bite.

I had another apple afterwards, but this time a gala. Definitely wasn’t as good as the honey crisp but still good!

Yesterday I woke up an HOUR late. Thankfully, I prepped my usual overnight oats! I have these every Tuesday because it is my EARLIEST day. I’ll change it up next week for the sake of WIAW and so your guys eyes don’t fall out looking at overnight oats every Wednesday!

It’s party time once again! ;D

I usually post this earlier but I had two tests this morning that I did excellent in, thank you very much, so I was studying awayyyy.

Yesterday I woke up at the butt-crack of dawn and had some coffee of course followed by overnight oats. Never gets old! So handy for when you don’t have time to prep breakfast in the morning (aka yesterday).

I forgot to take a picture so these are recycled, shhh no one will know 😉 It’s exactly the same as the usual.

  • 1/2 banana, 1/2 peach
  • 1 mini activia yogurt
  • 1/3 C. Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 C. Almond milk

  • Pinch of craisins
  • Dash vanilla
    • Dash cinnamon
    • Pinch shredded coconut

I did the first 45 minutes then added on for the last 15 to complete 6 miles.

I knew I wasn’t having dinner till later so I had a snack.

Breakfast

I started my morning with a favorite of mine. Possibly one of the best discoveries I’ve had from blogging.

Overnight Oats in a Jar! (OOIAJ)

For those of you who are not familiar:

You take an almost empty jar of nut butter, or anything else you might want or have on hand, and make your own concoction of oatmeal and stick it in the fridge over night!

In my mix:

  • 1/3 cup raw rolled oats (I do not cook them first)
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 mini activia yogurt
  • 1 tbs. chia seeds
  • 1/2 banana
  • dash of cinnamon

Then when you leave it in the fridge over night, the oats soak up the liquid and expand.

It may not be the most attractive thing in the world, but definitely something worth trying. I didn’t like them the first time I tried them, but I played around with how I made it and this one works for me the best!

Almond encrusted salmon with a maple-soy glaze, on top of a salad.

Super easy to make and throw it on top of a salad, so healthy too!

Salmon is one of my favorite fish but it has to be cooked right. I’m honestly scared to cook it so I usually only eat it if someone else cooks it for me Smile

Plus, salmon is the healthiest fish you can eat!

WIAW Vacation Edition!

Sorry I was MIA yesterday, I have a quiz today and I was studying.

I’m the QUEEN of procrastination and of course left it to the last minute Winking smile

Since I was on vacation this weekend, I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for a new post today.

I ordered the egg white omelet with low-fat mozzarella cheese, peppers, and mushrooms. So good! It came with an orange which I only tried, whole wheat toast (I had one piece), and Hash Browns I think? I only tasted it. I ate most of the omelet though!

Mom had the corned beef hash I think is what it’s called. With two dippy eggs and toast!

Breakfast held us over almost all day! So we had a late lunch when we stopped by Panera. I practically flew over from 4 lanes of traffic when I saw it because I knew it had Wi-Fi! Sorry I’m not sorry but we didn’t have any in the hotel!

We only had a bite because we wanted to save room and we had mini salads as apps.

I had grouper topped with shrimp, spinach, peppers, and some sort of cheese, asparagus, and a baked potato. I did not eat the sour cream, it grosses me out!

She had some sort of shrimp, scallop, and sauce linguini. The scallops were awesome.

We also ordered dessert for her birthday.

It was some sort of Hot fudge brownie but it was the worst thing ever.

It was mostly ice cream and whipped cream, I don’t even think there was a brownie so we only had a few bites, and it went un-pictured!

That pretty much sums up my eats from vacation.

Not too bad if I say so myself. Stayed pretty healthy too! Smile

I took a body works class at my gym and also got in a 3 mile run! Once I got home I wanted some yummy fuel.

I ended up being out running errands till late so I had a late lunch!
